suddenly Featherpaw heard leafpaws mentor calling leafpaw, "looks like she cant go hunting today do you still want to go out ?

featherpaw raced ivypaw through the thorn tunnel and into the forest she stood tasting the air for a moment she picked the scents of new growth in the bracken and faintly the trace of fox suddenley she picked up a fresh scent of rabbit indicating to ivypaw to stay where she was she crept through the bracken and then dropped into her best hunters crouch tensed her muscle and sprang with one swift bite to the neck the rabbit was dead she grasped it in her mouth and dragged back to ivypaw

nothing bad indicating to the large rabbit at her paws

theres a fox chasing me all of a sudden a fox charged into the clearing featherkit whimpered

there is a faint trace of fox a couple of days old
